Team member
Greg brings first-hand experience of founding, building and scaling a global digital travel business from early-stage startup to market leader. Starting as a car rental broker in an era when online travel was still emerging, Greg steered the business towards a digital-first strategy that delivered sustained competitive advantage. Through rapid growth, international expansion and increasing operational complexity, he led the evolution of the business by learning through execution, embracing experimentation, and scaling infrastructure alongside demand.
Greg now leads Beauport Partners, and has worked closely with all their investments applying those lessons to help management teams with strong propositions scale faster, internationalise effectively, and build resilient, high-performance businesses. As a former Founder and CEO and now an Investor and Partner in the Management team journey Greg has built a unique understanding of investment relationships from both sides, and is able to draw on a wealth of experience in supporting Management teams excel and succeed in the next phase of their business journey.

Nichola brings deep commercial and supply-side expertise built through the experience of founding and scaling Rentalcars.com from new market entrant to global category leader. From the earliest days, her focus was on ensuring that commercial strategy and supply partnerships worked in lockstep – balancing trading, analytics, technology and relationships to create sustainable, mutually beneficial outcomes.
As the business scaled across hundreds of destinations and suppliers, multiple source markets, and an increasingly complex competitive and technological landscape, Nichola led the evolution from manual contracting and yield management to data-driven, automated commercial systems. Her approach combines rigorous use of data with a strong emphasis on long-term partner relationships, and she now applies these learnings at Beauport Partners to help management teams optimise supply, pricing and commercial performance as they scale.

Pete brings deep experience in scaling high-growth digital businesses, having spent a decade at Rentalcars.com during its formative and expansion years. Joining the business in its first year, he worked with the founders to scale the marketing function into a 100-plus strong organisation, underpinning sustained international growth.
His approach has always been rooted in rigorous measurement and data-led decision-making, tracking customer interactions at a granular level and continuously refining strategy through testing and learning. Having seen first-hand how ecommerce and online marketing have evolved at scale, Pete now applies his operational experience to help portfolio businesses build high-performing teams, develop scalable growth engines, and navigate the complexities of expansion with confidence.

Sean brings more than 30 years of commercial and financial experience, combining deep institutional banking expertise with hands-on operating insight. After over 15 years in UK Corporate Banking with two of Europe’s largest banks, he has spent the bulk of his career working with high growth businesses, gaining first-hand experience of transactions and decision-making from both an investor and operator perspective.
Sean joined Beauport Partners at its inception, where he plays a central role in evaluating investment opportunities, structuring transactions, and supporting portfolio businesses through their growth and scaling phases. He also provides invaluable first hand support and guidance during the late stages of the investment cycle when the management team is ready to consider a potential sale to trade or other investment companies. His approach is grounded in pragmatism, trust in management teams, and the belief that strong outcomes are achieved through disciplined execution, partnership, and adaptability.

Ian brings nearly two decades of hands-on technology and digital leadership experience, having progressed from frontline IT support and application development to leading the full technology function as IT Director at Rentalcars.com. Throughout his career, he has embedded a rigorous, data-driven approach to decision-making, consistently aligning technology execution with customer outcomes and commercial performance.
For more than a decade, Ian has worked closely with Beauport portfolio businesses, supporting the scaling of technology and product functions, strengthening delivery capability, and ensuring IT strategy is tightly aligned with business growth objectives. His experience spans building high-performing teams, modernising platforms, and translating complex technical challenges into practical, growth-enabling solutions.

Nick brings deep experience of scaling and managing complex supply relationships and commercial terms. Having been one of the earliest employees in Rentalcars, Nick was instrumental in the developing the supplier base and their commercial terms on a global scale, and building long standing successful partnerships that enabled the business to scale and grow significantly.
Since joining Beauport Partners in the early years, Nick has been able to bring his wealth of experience in the supply and negotiation field to the investment businesses and has been actively involved in the recruitment of a vast array of new supply partners to many of the businesses. He has a deep affinity with the teams responsible for profitable growth of supply in the investment businesses and is offers teams both strategic and practical support recruiting and the ongoing management of supply where the business requires this for growth.

Founded by members of the Beauport team in the early days of online travel, the business grew rapidly by combining a strong customer proposition with a global, digital-first, performance-led approach, ultimately becoming the world’s largest car rental booking platform.
Rentalcars.com is a global online car rental marketplace, enabling customers to search, compare and book car hire across thousands of locations worldwide. It started life as a UK focused start up in the busy car rental space in 2005, and quickly grew both its sales and customer base internationally through a fast changing landscape of ecommerce developments, increasing customer sophistication with online brands and a rapidly changing digital and technological environment to become a leading player in the online space, eventually becoming part of the Priceline/Booking Group in 2010
As one of the fastest-growing brands in the sector, Rentalcars.com needed to have a clearer, faster and more reliable customer journey, more robust infrastructure, pioneering functionality throughout each area and a determined focus on optimisation in all aspects of the business.
The Beauport team members were heavily involved in Rentalcars from its earliest days and drove this rapid expansion.
